As one of Trøndelag’s biggest annual events, it is important that we have a defensible and comprehensive environmental policy.
We must take the environment and climate seriously and take the responsibility of running a sport that may come into reputational conflict in relation to the environment and climate.
We shall undertake to comply with all national laws, regulations and political mechanisms relating to environmental issues.
We shall undertake to follow the FIA and the Norwegian Automobile-Sport Federation regulations and guidelines regarding environmental issues.
We shall appear with a high degree of credibility on future-oriented solutions and continuously search for solutions and proposals that secures the sporting side in parallel with society’s demands for reduced emissions.
After each event, we will obtain reports on the consumption of energy, fossil fuel and the delivery of waste, and through these we will continuously search for possible improvements.
We will be an attractive partner for companies that search for development with environmentally friendly solutions in mind.
We must reduce the use of plastic and fossil material. We must reduce the use of fossil fuels and emissions.
We must protect the environment and not leave litter in the nature.
